Spangler Kitchen Remodel

October 14, 2019

The Spanglers have traveled the world and display their collection of menus from their favorite restaurants in their dining room. Through their travels, they have cultivated a worldly style that is evident in every room of their home, except for their kitchen. In our initial consultation, Mrs. Spangler mentioned that she’d like for their remodeled kitchen to have a Mediterranean flair. With that inspiration, Eileen started designing!

Tile Selection
When Eileen showed Mrs. Spangler our Twenties Vintage tile, she instantly fell in love with it. We used that tile for the accent above the range, but she wanted something with more color for the rest of the backsplash. In a serendipitous stroke of luck, we had just received a new sample of the Revalia Celebration Teal mosaic tile. It was exactly what she wanted!

Custom Cabinets & Countertops
The cabinets are Ultracraft Eurotek. They chose Cape May Grey Mist for the base cabinets, and Jamestown Dove White for the wall and tall cabinets.
Spangler Kitchen Remodel Two-Toned Cabinets
To complement the light tones of their cabinets, we installed Silestone Eternal Calcutta Gold countertops. Together, the cabinets and counters create a neutral palette that allows the backsplash to be the focal point of the space.
Spangler Kitchen Remodel Stainless Steel Sink, Fixtures and Appliances
Stainless Steel Accents
Stainless steel is another beautiful neutral that’s been incorporated into this design. The GE Cafe appliances, Kohler Vault apron sink, and the Kohler Simplice Pull-Down Faucet gracefully blend into the design and allow their stunning backsplash to shine.
Menus from around the world on display in the Spangler dining room
The Spanglers’ new kitchen is as unique as their experiences, and it’s the perfect place to recreate the dishes described on their menus from around the world. Kudos to Spanglers’ design team – Meghan (Design Consultant), Eileen (Designer), and Kent (Project Manager) – for adding another happy customer to the Hatchett family.
