Choosing a Color Palette with Longevity

For their home in Poquoson, the Quenvilles opted for a neutral color palette that offers a long lifespan for their new bathroom. Their Ultracraft cabinets from the Cape May collection are finished in gray mist, and the vanity is topped with fantasy brown granite. The veining in this stone blends tones of gray and beige together, as does their choice of flooring.

Their Adura Max luxury vinyl plank floors are Margate Oak Coastline. The weathered driftwood coloring of this flooring adds to the coastal vibe of the space while remaining neutral enough to complement any design aesthetic.

Tile Selection

Their tile selections contribute an earthiness to Eileen’s design. The wall tile for the shower and tub surround is Unique Stone Soft Gris, and the floor tile is Sands Dark Natural. The touch of Art Blue Sea is the perfect complementary tile color for their shower accent.

Staying in Budget

The freestanding tub was high on Mrs. Quenville’s wishlist, but it was one of the more challenging aspects of this remodel. Our design team worked closely with her to find a soaking tub that she liked, but one that also fit in her bathroom. To keep the project within their budget, their tub not only needed to fit in the bathroom itself, but it also needed to fit through their doors without removing door casings or widening doorways.

Thanks to the hard work of Ron (Design Consultant), Eileen (Designer), and Kent (Project Manager), the Quenvilles got the master bath they’ve always wanted.
