While COVID-19 leaves a great deal of hardship and heartbreak in its wake, there is some good that has come out of the pandemic. Hatchett Design Remodel was fortunate to be among the essential businesses allowed to continue operation. However, it meant overhauling our 60-year tried and true process. It wasn’t easy, but our team rose to the challenge. Together, we found innovative ways to maintain our high level of customer service while protecting our employees and our customers.

Adapting to Change

Jessica, one of our Designers, had this to say, “I have been so impressed by everyone’s ability to adjust to a new way of doing things – our team and our clients. Our team was quick to learn Zoom, Prezi and other ways of holding virtual meetings. We did whatever we could to create a user-friendly process. We’ve held zoom consultations with clients that have probably never made a video call before.” It has taken determination, resiliency and innovative thinking to get us through this past year. And that led us to an even more stream-lined, efficient process for our clients.

Another positive outcome of the pandemic is a new found appreciation for our homes. As we spent the vast majority of our days inside our houses, we realized the immeasurable value of a comforting space to call home. Jessica added, clients are now also “more aware of how they use their space, because they have been in it more than ever.”
